About
Rooted in craft, baked with care, shared with community
Hi, I’m Teresa Tan — a pastry chef turned micro baker, bringing over 16 years of experience in the culinary world to the heart of Portland.

Our Story
My journey began at the Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Management and was recognized for my Outstanding Portfolio in Culinary. From there, I spent years in some of the world’s most respected kitchens — including the Michelin-starred The French Laundry, Gordon Ramsay, Jose Andres, and Burnt Ends in Singapore — learning the value of precision, patience, and passion.
Throughout my career, I’ve led pastry teams, opened bakeries from the ground up, trained the next generation of bakers, and developed menus that balance creativity with comfort. I’ve always believed that great pastry is about more than precision — it’s about warmth, community, and a sense of care in every bite.
After years in fine dining and international kitchens, I decided to return to something more personal: a small-batch bakery that celebrates honest ingredients, thoughtful craft, and the community that gathers around good food.
That’s how this micro bakery was born: a love letter to craft, community, and good food shared simply. Every pastry, bread, and breakfast sandwich I make is rooted in that belief — that food connects us, grounds us, and brings a little comfort to our busy lives.
This micro bakery is my way of sharing that love with Portland, one handmade bite at a time.

Meet The Team

Teresa Tan - Owner / Baker

Cheyenne Plotner - Right Hand Man / Operations Support
I couldn’t have launched this micro bakery without Cheyenne — my partner in life and in the kitchen. From early morning market setups to flipping breakfast sandwiches on the griddle, he’s been there every step of the way with steady hands and endless encouragement. His never-ending support, laughter, and belief in this dream have been the backbone of every bake and every busy market day. This little bakery truly wouldn’t be the same without him.
